Every figure on this site comes from a city file committed to the repository, and is recomputed on every build: not one is typed by hand. This page says which file each one is, when it is from, and where it bites.

The files are downloaded from datos.madrid.es and from the city geoportal, committed to the repository as they are, and every page is generated from them. If a figure appears in the text, it is because the builder computed it from a dated file; when two official files contradict each other, the contradiction gets its own page in findings and the pages it affects link to it.
What the files do not say is not asserted: the premises census does not classify the trade, so this site does not say what a shop sells; a stall's goods are the authorized ones, not the observed ones; and the positions of Sector F are marked as out of date because they are.
The city data is under CC BY 4.0, attribution to Madrid City Council. To cite a figure from this site, cite the city source and the check date beside it in the table above too: that is what makes it verifiable without us. One line that works for the whole site:

All of it is documented so that no figure inherits it in silence.
